Biodiesel F.A.Q
What is in Biodiesel?
Biodiesel is made with a chemical reaction using natural oils and alcohol and later, purification. The most common ingredients are cooking oil, soybean oil, poultry grease, cottonseed oil, tallow, and yellow grease.
Do I need to do any modifications to my diesel vehicle to use Biodiesel?
If your vehicle was produced after 1933, you do not need to make modifications. It was a change in fuel lines that allows this.
Can I run Biodiesel in my gasoline engine?
no, biodiesel is only for diesel engines.

Is Biodiesel good for my engine?
Yes, biodiesel reduces the wear of vital engine parts by having tremendous lubricating properties.
What are common issues with Biodiesel?
Fuel filter clogging, rubber hoses and seals degrade after a while, cold weather with thicken the fuel (this can be helped by blending petroleum diesel to lower the gel point).
Does Biodiesel contain diesel fuel?
Biodiesel it self does not contain petrodiesel. However biodiesel and petrodiesel blends are often sold as B20 (20% biodiesel, 80% petrodiesel blend) and B5 (5% biodiesel, 95% petrodiesel blend).
