FOI Field Test Certification
STEP ONE:
WATCH VIDEOS
Watch the entire set of instructional videos, one for each field test kit that FOI Laboratories provides. Each test kit comes with printed instructions as well.
The following field test kit videos are provided and will be included in the final certification review:
- 500PPM in Diesel
- 500PPM in Ethanol
- Microbial Detection in Diesel
- Acid Number in Diesel
STEP TWO:
SCHEDULE YOUR TRAINING CALL
After reviewing the information in all field test videos, register for a online training call with an FOI representative, who will guide you through the rest of certification process and answer any questions you may have.
STEP THREE:
TAKE THE QUIZ
After your online training call, you will need to complete the provided quiz in order to become FOI-certified and begin submitting field test result to the LIMS.
STEP FOUR:
SUBMIT YOUR LOCATIONS
In order to complete your certification and to be ready to submit field test results, you must first submit your eligible testing locations via our web form. Locations can be submitted manually or imported via a spreadsheet.
STEP FIVE:
SUBMIT YOUR TEST RESULTS
As a certified FOI tech, you can now begin entering the results of your field tests online. Your results will be submitted to our LIMS team, who will make sure your results are posted on the LIMS alongside all other fuel data.
