Is shipping a Diesel Fuel sample by mail dangerous?

Can I ship a diesel fuel sample via UPS?

Diesel can be shipped non hazmat via UPS. The flash point for diesel is not high enough to be considered hazmat so you can avoid dealing with all the hazmat labels and precautions. Gasoline on the other hand IS considered hazmat and has is own shipping procedure.
