Life-Safety Sample Kits & Field Fuel Testing

Standby-ready sampling and field screening—connected to laboratory testing, chain of custody and the same national ten-step fuel-quality continuity workflow.

Two practical ways to begin

Life-Safety Fuel Quality Sample Kit

Collect, identify, package and ship a fuel sample for laboratory analysis. Establish the site, tank, purpose and event identity before sampling.

Field Fuel Test Kits

Screen for selected fuel concerns at the tank, delivery point or service event. A field result provides a prompt operational signal—not a substitute for all laboratory testing.

Laboratory performance

When laboratory testing is needed, the identified sample proceeds through custody, analysis, review and reported findings.

Continuity inside FOI LIMS

Preserve the relevant sample identity, findings, corrective actions, verification and trend history for the next event.

Keep kits ready before they are needed

Service providers and multi-site operators can stage appropriate sample and field-test kits, build consistent collection practices and use FOI’s laboratory resources when conditions require further analysis.

Identify → Screen or Sample → Document Custody → Laboratory Performance when needed → Review → Correct → Verify → Preserve → Trend → Next Event.

A kit purchase or field-screening result alone does not establish compliance with NFPA 110 or completion of the entire ten-step continuity process. Laboratory services are purchased separately where applicable. Follow the applicable sampling and shipping instructions.

Who uses these products?

Generator service companies

Keep sampling supplies available for routine maintenance and problem response.

Hospitals & healthcare

Support fuel-quality evidence for emergency power systems within the facility’s applicable program.

Data centers & utilities

Manage multiple storage assets, delivery checks and recurring fuel events.

Distributors & technicians

Screen at receiving, storage and transfer points, then document or escalate findings.

A delivery or field screening is not automatically a completed continuity event. Record and verification requirements apply to each identified event.
